Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The following legislation is being considered for Suspension of the rules. Second Reading <br />Resolution 2022-25. First Reading Resolutions 2021-29 and 2022-30. <br />REPORTS <br />Mawr Jones: <br />Updated Council on the success of the Shred -II event as well as notifying attendees of <br />upcoming Lg' stravaganut on Sundae at North Olmsted Park and future lisp-Iry e�cnts. <br />Director of Law Ciareau: <br />• The Kelly Patrick x. Daniel Kasaris lawsuit from 2011 has been dismissed. <br />Director of Finance <br />Mayor Jones on hehalf of the Director of Finance stated no report. <br />Councilman Kelly. Chairman of Streets and I ransportal ion: <br />the Streets and Transportation Committee meet on April 5, 3021 at 731 p.m. Present were all <br />of Council, Mayor Jones, law Director Ciareau, human Resources Director Kidd. Economic <br />Director Upton, Sa]cK Director Scotield_ Scrricc Director Kearney andguests. <br />• Discussed Resolution 3032=25 authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for rock salt <br />for roadwac ice and Snow renunal for use b_v the city of North Olmsted. as detailed in <br />specifications on lile and further authorizing the Mayor. alter approeal by the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. and declaring an <br />emergency. Director Keamey explained Suspension of the rule on three readings is <br />necessary to secure a lower price, as this would have normally come before Council <br />earlier in the }'ear.
