I I) Provide trainingto teachers. administrators. staff and SROs about when to direcll) involve SROs with <br />student misconduct and about available alternatives to arrest. <br />VII <br />North Olmsted School District and the City of North Olmsted Police and Fire Departments will coordinate <br />Crisis planning and training. L'.ach entity will he involved in updates and creation of new Crisis Plans. <br />Consislene}throughout the district should he adhered to. <br />Lock down drills shall be included as part of the District's preparedness plan. North Olmsted Police <br />Department shall be included in the creation of lock down procedures so that first responders are familiar with <br />procedures. Lock downprocedures should betrauma-informed andconsistenithroughout lire District. <br />VIII. Reviewinv the MOI7 and SROPrrmram <br />I he assigned parties shall review the MOU/SRO Program annually and snake adjustments a needed. Airy <br />revisions will be reflected in an updated MOU. <br />Complaints against the SRO shall follow the normal complaint process of the North Olmsted Police <br />Department and include notice to the appropriate school adntinistraloa. This process will be made known to <br />parents and students through the school district's notitication procedure <br />Unforeseen difficulties or questions will be resolved by negotiation between the Superintendent of North <br />Olmsted School District and the North Olmsted Police Department. Should the District have concerns <br />regarding SRO performance and/or compliance with ohligations under this MOIL and/or regarding <br />compliance with District or Cilv of North Olmsted policies and procedures, the District will communicate <br />such concerns to the North Olmsted Police Department The North Olmsted Police Department shall address <br />any such concerns pursuant to North Olmsted Police Department policy, however should the District <br />reasonably believe that an interview with the SRO would assist the District in the performance of a required <br />investigation and, further, should such interview with the SRO be necessary For the District to salisfy its <br />legal obligation to perform said investigation, the District may request an interview with the SRO and the <br />SRO shall not unreasonably decline such interview_ <br />Nothing in this MOIJ shall constitute a rcquircntcnl That the SRO waive any right or privilege available to <br />the SRO at law or arising pursuant to the SROs collective bargaining agreement with the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SIGNA ILIRF OP PARTIES & SIGNA I UKF DA 11, <br />Name, Agency.
