NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SY,CTION 1: That the Mmur be and she is hereby authorized to enter- into a contract with the Chagrin Valley Dispatch to provide police and fire dispatch services. Said contracts shall be substantially in the form of the contracts marked as Exhibits "A". Said Agreement shall not authorize expenditure of funds, except as otherwise appropriated therefore. Said agreement shall be presented to the Director of Law in form or in substance that is not substantially adverse to the City and which is approved by the Director of Law. 'fhe character of any such changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agrecntetit by the Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the Director of Law. SECT10N-2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure hnmediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare_ and further forthereason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately due to the time line directives of the Slate of Ohio for regionalization together with the significant rum -up time to implement the successful transfer of dispatching services; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
