Council Minutes of 05-17-2022 Ordinance 2022-50 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the Year Ending December 31, 2022 and declaring an emergency Ordinance 2022-51 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals for professional appraisal services to perform replacement cost valuation of City property, and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2022-52 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Deferred Compensation Board to enable City Employees optional participation in and contributions to Roth 457(b) Retirement Savings Accounts, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2022-53 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Communications Manager to request proposals ("RFP") for Website Design Services and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said professional services with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. Resolution 2022-54 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. A Resolution adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1. 2023, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget Commission, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2022-55 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Chagrin Valley Dispatch for the purpose of providing emergency dispatch services for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS President Pro -Tem opened Committee scheduling by reminding everyone the May 24'h Committee Meetings and Public Hearing will be held virtually. Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss O. 2022-26. The Economic Development Director and Mayor's designee are asked to attend. Councilman Kelly scheduled a Streets and Transportation Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 7'.15 pm. to discuss R. 2022-44. Mayor and designee are asked to attend. Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. to discuss O. 2022-48, O. 2022-49, O. 2022-55, O. 2022-51. R. 2022-53 and R. 2022- 54. Mayor or her designee as well as the Finance Director is asked to attend.
