Council Minutes of 06-07-2022 <br />Ordinance 2022-52 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with <br />the Ohio Deferred Compensation Board to enable City Employees optional participation in and <br />contributions to Roth 457(b) Retirement Savings Accounts., and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2022-53 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Communications Manager to request proposals ("RFP") for Website Design <br />Services and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said professional services <br />with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. <br />Resolution 2022-54 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution <br />adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning <br />January 1, 2023, and submitting the same to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and its Budget <br />Commission, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2022-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a two (2) year contract for the purchase, monitoring service <br />and installation of fifteen (15) Flock Falcon Cameras from Flock Group, Inc., and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal Committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes'. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area (C.R.A.) agreement with <br />Fieldstone Developers, Inc. and 31351 Industrial Parkway, LLC. for the construction of a <br />warehouse / office complex in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution 2022-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Jones. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor or her designee to apply for a Federal Office for Victims of Crime ("OVC") <br />Grant, in partnership with the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking, to receive up to Seven <br />Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) in grant funds to assist the Division of Police <br />in the effort to combat human trafficking in North Olmsted and the Greater Cleveland Area, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal Committee review.
