Council Minutes of 07-07-2022 <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />None. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2022-61 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids to award a contract for <br />construction services at the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), as detailed in the <br />specifications on file with the engineerand further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of <br />the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, as Amended. <br />Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes. Scarl, Gilchrist, Williamson, Limpet Glassburn, Kelly, Hemann <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-61 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-62 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted Board of <br />Education to purchase School District -owned real property commonly known as Forest <br />Elementary School and Spruce Elementary School in consideration of Four Million Dollars. <br />Resolution 2022-63 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution <br />dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with CHIN <br />Housing Partners for the purpose of administering ARPA funding for home repairs. and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, August 2, 2022. <br />at 7'.30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2022-63 and asked the Mayor and her designee be in <br />attendance. <br />Council President Brossard reminded all attendees that the next Special Council Meeting on <br />July 11, 2022, will be held virtually at 6.00 p.m. via GoToMeeting. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council. <br />President Brossard adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8'.15 p.m. <br />t A , <br />Beatrice Taylor Clerko Co Lo J.
