Council Minutes of 08-16-2022 <br />Yes: Scan, Gilchrist, Limped, Hemann, Glassburn, Kelly, Williamson <br />No None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes'. Scarl, Gilchrist, Williamson. Glassburn, Hemann. Kelly, Limpert <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-74 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2022-75 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Second <br />Resolution of City Council adopting the Mayor's proposal for new program initiatives and capital <br />improvements made possible by funds received by the City of North Olmsted from the American <br />Rescue Plan Act of 2021, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2022-76 introduced by Mayor Jones., Council President Brossard and <br />Councilmembers Limpert, Williamson, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Scarl and Gilchrist, placed <br />and first reading and requested suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />Committee review. An Ordinance repealing Resolution No. 2022-55, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />and formal Committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes: Williamson, Kelly, Limpert, Scarl, Gilchrist. Hemann, Glassburn <br />No None <br />Motion carried. <br />Tom Austin, Executive Director of the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association spoke when <br />asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to address Council on Ordinance 2022- <br />76, thanking Council and the Administration for doing the right thing. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kelly <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes: Williamson, Kelly, Scarl, Limpert, Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No. None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-76 adopted 7-0. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2022-72 and 2022-73 and the <br />Economic Development Director and/or designee is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, August 23, 2022 <br />at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2022-75 and the Mayor and designees are asked to attend. <br />
