Council Minutes of 08-16-2022 <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with <br />the individual selected in the S.0 Q. process, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2022-68 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance <br />establishing the' Fix our Fronts' Storefront renovation grant program and further authorizing the <br />Mayor to issue grants to approved grantees, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2022-69 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with <br />the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission to provide professional services associated with <br />creating a Geographic Information System ("G.I. S.") based zoning map, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2022-70 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution <br />dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Osborn <br />Engineering for the purpose of providing Engineering Services for the Great Northern Bridge <br />Aesthetic Program, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal Committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Williamson and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call <br />Yes. Limpert, Williamson, Kelly, Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, Scarl <br />No. None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. Gilchrist, Hamann, Scarl <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2022-70 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-72 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the formation of a Community Improvement Corporation, as an Ohio Nonprofit <br />Corporation, and furthering the Mayor to file Articles of Incorporation, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance 2022-73 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />authoring the Mayor to enter into an Economic Development Agency Agreement with the North <br />Olmsted Community Improvement Corporation and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2022-74 introduced by Mayor Jones, placed on first reading and requested <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee review. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to make application to the <br />State of Ohio Public Works Commission for FY 2023 State Capital Improvement Program <br />Funding for the South Interceptor Equalization Tank Project, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Scarl moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />
