WIIEREAS, as a result of a robbct} at Staibncks on March 21. 2022. 1)ominque Ilullum has been charged kith aggimated robbers, attempted murder, felonious assault (of a police officer), tampering with evidence and drug possession: and WHEREAS, during that incident, police Officers from the North Olmsted Division of Police utilized deadly force in an attempt to apprehend Mr. Hullum: and WHEREAS, the Ohio Attomcy Generals Bureau o1 Criminal Investigation ( BCf'I sewes as Ohio s crime lab and criminal -records keeper, and it offers expert, impartial investigative services to local. state and federal law cnlorccuicnt agencies 24/7; and WHEREAS. as is customary, the Ohio BUI opened an im estigation of the use of deadb. force I -or the incident and WHEREAS. Im the purpose of maintaining an impartial investigation, the use of special counsel to make rulings and to assist in the investigation is appropriate: and WHEREAS. Michael P- Maloney attended law school at Cleveland -Marshall College of Law and earned his J.D..degree in 1997. Ile has been employed as a prosecutor at the felony and misdemeanor Icvel for a combined 24 years. and as a law director for 17 years: and WHEREAS.
