MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Kelly, Limpert, Scarl and Williamson. Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance Copfer, H. R. Director, Economic Director, Safety Director. Service Director.. Recreation Director, Special Assistant to the Mayor, Clerk of Council and guests. Absent: Council Members Glassburn and Hemann Council President Brossard called the meeting to order at 8:01 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted.. Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Special Council Meeting Minutes of March 29, 2022 were approved as written. The following legislation was considered for suspension of the rules: On first reading Resolution 2022-82 REPORTS Mayor Jones: • The Mayor swore in Nicholas Robertson and Richard Juergens as new North Olmsted Police Officers. • Barton Road will be closed at the bridge from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 22. 2022, for repair work and advised all residents in the area to have their trash ready at 6:00 a . for a 7.00 a . pick-up, prior to the road closure. • Condolences to the family of Jennifer llguaskas who passed away on Monday. Jennifer was the owner of many North Olmsted health focused businesses. • Congratulations to Anna Scott. a 2019 North Olmsted Graduate, who performed background vocals for Carrie Underwood on "CMT Giants" honoring Vince Gill. Ms. Scott is studying Music at Belmont University in Tennessee. • North Olmsted native Molly Kearney has been chosen as one of the four new cast members on NBC's Saturday Night Live. • Pumpkinville in The Valley returns September 25, 2022 to the Frostville Museum from 11'.00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. • The North Olmsted Senior Center will host a Senior Prom on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. — 800 p.m. • The Mayor took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony at North Olmsted's newest business, Crumbl Cookies located at 25102 Brookpark Road. • The Cleveland Housing Network will present a lunch and learn meeting regarding the Senior Home Repair program at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday., September 28, 2022. Eligibility is based on certain income guidelines. There will also be a second session
