Council Minutes of 09-20-2022 <br />Ordinance 2022-77 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,825,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring real estate for City purposes. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Williamson and passed 5-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Williamson, Gilchrist., Kelly, Scarl <br />No. None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-77 adopted 5-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-78 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the issuance and sale of not to exceed $2,180,000 Economic Development Revenue <br />Notes of the City under Section 13, Article VIII of the Ohio Constitution and Chapter 165 of the <br />Ohio Revised Code to pay costs of a "project' as defined in Section 165.01 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code, for the purpose of creating or preserving jobs and employment opportunities and <br />improving the economic welfare of the City and its residents and the State of Ohio; providing <br />for the pledge for that purpose of certain nontax revenues; establishing certain funds of the <br />City; and approving related documents. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. <br />Roll Call. <br />Yes'. Limpert, Williamson. Scarf Gilchrist, Kelly <br />No None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-78 adopted 5-0. <br />Ordinance 2022-79 introduced by Mayor Jones and Councilmembers Hemann, Kelly and <br />Gilchrist, was given its third reading. An Ordinance Amending Section 941.01 entitled <br />"Classifications Established" of Chapter 941 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code <br />entitled "Refuse Collection." Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilwoman Gilchrist and passed 5-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Scarf, Gilchrist, Kelly, Limpert. Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-79 adopted 5-0. <br />Resolution 2022-80 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Law, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an <br />agreement with the Law Firm of Squire Patton Boggs to provide Professional Legal Services for <br />Community and Economic Development and for the creation and modification of Tax Increment <br />Financing ('TIF") Incentive Districts, and declaring an emergency, as Amended. <br />Resolution 2022-82 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution <br />accepting the amounts and rates and determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing <br />the necessary Tax Levies and Certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. Councilman Limpert <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee Review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. <br />
