Council Minutes of 09-20-2022 addressed. Director Kearney gave Ms. Kuhel his number and let her know to contact him for issues going forward, as well as advising her to contact the Senior Center for assistance with shoveling. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2022-68 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance establishing the "Fix our Fronts' Storefront renovation grant program and further authorizing the Mayor to issue grants to approved grantees, and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert., Williamson, Scarl. Kelly, Gilchrist No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-68 adopted 5-0. Ordinance 2022-71 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending the definition of "Apartment' in Section 1115.02 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Definitions A-8,", for the purpose of updating definitions associated with multiple residence district uses. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Williamson, Kelly, Gilchrist, Scarl No None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-71 adopted 5-0. Ordinance 2022-72 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the formation of a Community Improvement Corporation, as an Ohio Nonprofit Corporation, and furthering the Mayor to file Articles of Incorporation, and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Williamson, Scarl, Kelly, Gilchrist No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-72 adopted 5-0. Ordinance 2022-73 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authoring the Mayor to enter into an Economic Development Agency Agreement with the North Olmsted Community Improvement Corporation and declaring an emergency, as Amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed 5-0. Roll Call: Yes: Limpert, Williamson, Kelly, Gilchrist, Scarl No None Motion carried.
