Council Minutes of 10-18-2022 Resolution 2022-94 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Recreation & Public Engagement to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and related vehicles for Springvale, and upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2022-95 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Section 141.99(d) of the Administrative Code entitled "Composition and Organization of the Department of Public Service' in order to create the position of "Pretreatment Biosolids Coordinator' and to amend the organizational chart accordingly. Resolution 2022-96 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids to award a contract for construction of the Sanitary Sewer South Interceptor Flow Equalization Tank projectas detailed in the specifications on file with the City Engineer, and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Ordinance 2022-97 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance amending the Schedule of Uses at 1139.03-1 of Chapter 1139, 'Business Districts' of the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, for the purpose of establishing massage establishments operated by State licensed professionals as a permitted use in the North Olmsted Business District. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Council President Brossard scheduled a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2022-97. Council President Brossard also advised the Council Meeting of November 15, 2022, will be held virtually via GoToMeeting. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 7:40 p.m. after the Public Hearing to discuss Ordinance 2022-97, and the Mayor and/or her designees are asked to attend. Councilwoman Hemann scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting for Tuesday.. October 25, 2022 at 7:00 p.mto discuss Resolution 2022-94, the Mayor and Recreation Director are asked to attend. Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 7.05 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2022-93, and asked any members of Council to attend. Councilman Scarl scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 7:10 pm. to discuss Ordinance 2022-95 and Resolution 2022-96, and the Mayor, Service Director and WWTP Supervisor are asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Limpert. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously.
