MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />NOVEMBER 29, 2022 <br />Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, <br />Kelly, Limpert and Scarl. <br />Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance <br />Copfer, H. R. Director, Service Director, Recreation Director, Clerk of Council <br />and guests. <br />Absent: Council Member Williamson <br />Council President Brossard called the meeting to order at 8:06 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Council President Brossard noted that there will be no video stream due to technical difficulties. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Council Meeting Minutes of November 15, 2022 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation was considered for suspension of the rules. On second reading <br />Ordinance 2022-114, Ordinance 2022-115. Ordinance 2022-118 and Resolution 2022-120. <br />REPORTS <br />Councilman Kelly, Vice Chair of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: The Public <br />Safety, Health and Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 7:03 p.m. <br />Present were Committee Members Williamson (late), Kelly and Glassburn and Council <br />Members Hemann, Gilchrist and Scarl. Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director <br />Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and <br />Community Development Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Recreation <br />and Public Engagement Director Pinchek and guests. <br />• Discussed Resolution 2022-108. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one <br />year contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair <br />services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, <br />and declaring an emergency. Director Scofield stated the renewal of the TAC Computer., <br />Inc. contract for 2023 is necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for <br />computer hardware and software for the North Olmsted Police Department at a cost of <br />$19,915.87 and was favorably recommended by a vote of 2-0. <br />• The Committee Meeting was then led by Committee Chair Williamson to discuss <br />Resolution 2022-109. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year <br />contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to <br />computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring <br />
