MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED NOVEMBER 29, 2022 Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, Kelly, Limpert and Scarl. Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance Copfer, H. R. Director, Service Director, Recreation Director, Clerk of Council and guests. Absent: Council Member Williamson Council President Brossard called the meeting to order at 8:06 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Council President Brossard noted that there will be no video stream due to technical difficulties. ANNOUNCEMENTS The Council Meeting Minutes of November 15, 2022 were approved as written. The following legislation was considered for suspension of the rules. On second reading Ordinance 2022-114, Ordinance 2022-115. Ordinance 2022-118 and Resolution 2022-120. REPORTS Councilman Kelly, Vice Chair of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: The Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 7:03 p.m. Present were Committee Members Williamson (late), Kelly and Glassburn and Council Members Hemann, Gilchrist and Scarl. Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community Development Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Recreation and Public Engagement Director Pinchek and guests. • Discussed Resolution 2022-108. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Director Scofield stated the renewal of the TAC Computer., Inc. contract for 2023 is necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for computer hardware and software for the North Olmsted Police Department at a cost of $19,915.87 and was favorably recommended by a vote of 2-0. • The Committee Meeting was then led by Committee Chair Williamson to discuss Resolution 2022-109. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring
