The legislation was favorably <br />recommended by a vote of 3-0. <br />Discussed Resolution 2022-111. A Resolution dispensing with the formal RFP process <br />and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Pradco to provide pre- <br />employment testing and police and fire promotional testing services. Director Kidd noted <br />that Pradco provides pre -assessment testing and psychological exams for police and fire <br />candidates and follow-up interviews. Director Kidd noted that she and Director Scofield <br />would like to continue the relationship with Pradco, as they have done a very good job. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved to favorably recommend to Council by a vote of 3-0. <br />Discussed Ordinance 2022-118. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety <br />to contract for and proceed with demolition and removal of unsafe structures located at <br />28757 Oring Drive, in the City of North Olmsted, as a public nuisance, and further <br />directing that abatement costs be Certified as alien upon said parcel., pursuant to R.C. <br />715.261, and declaring an emergency. Director Scofield noted that this is a <br />condemnation order from the Building Commissioner; the Law Department has been <br />through criminal and civil prosecution. The bank has contracted with a company to <br />demolish the house. however, should that not happen, another company will be sought <br />out to complete the demolition. Councilwoman Williamson favorably recommended to <br />Council by a vote of 3-0. The Committee Meeting concluded at 7:15 p.m. <br />Councilman Limpert, Chairman of the Building,. Zoning and Development Committee did not <br />have a report but wanted to advise that the Landmarks Commission is working with the <br />Administration regarding the celebration of the 100t' year anniversary of Springvale. <br />Councilwoman Hamann, Chairwoman of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee. <br />The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday. November 22, 2022, at <br />7.40 p.m. Present were Committee Members Hemann and Scarl and Council Members <br />Williamson, Glassburn, Kelly and Gilchrist. Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law <br />Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer. Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of <br />Economic and Community Development Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director <br />Kearney, Recreation and Public Engagement Director Pinchek and guests. <br />• Discussed Resolution 2022-120. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with N. P. Masonry and Anthony Barber Contracting to perform construction <br />services at the Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman <br />Hemann noted that the project is for the construction of a rolling commercial garage door <br />at the rear of the recreation facility and is necessary for the future work to be done at the <br />recreation center. There were three quotes provided and IN . Masonry was the best <br />overall. The legislation was favorably recommended 2-0. <br />• Discussed Resolution 2022-117. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with Poolside Adventures to install an aquatic climbing wall at the Recreation <br />Center, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann stated this is a <br />recreational aquatic feature in the form of an over the water rock climbing wall. The <br />climbing wall allows for the addition of additional panels to be added later and can be <br />moved when/if necessary. The legislation was favorably recommended by a vote of 2-0. <br />• Last discussed was Ordinance 2022-116. An Ordinance establishing new and revised <br />Program Fee Ranges for use of Park and Recreation Facilities, and further restating said <br />program fees, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hamann stated this <br />Ordinance is to establish a set of low to high range values that will give the <br />
