Council Minutes of 12-20-2022 Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Williamson, Kelly, Scarl, Hemann, Gilchrist No: None Motion carried. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Scarl, Kelly, Hemann, Williamson, Gilchrist No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-123 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-124 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending and reestablishing Section 139.99 of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Department of Public Safety," in order to create the position of "PartTime Master Plans Examiner" within the Division of Building. Ordinance 2022-106 was introduced by Mayor Jones, Councilwoman Williamson and Councilwoman Gilchrist and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending Chapter 557 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled 'Sale of Cigarettes and Tobacco Products' in order to update regulations for the sale to or possession of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, or other tobacco or alternate nicotine products by individuals under 21 years of age, and declaring an emergency - Resolution 2022-125 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading and suspension of the rules requested. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase for installation at the Recreation Center, Senior Center and Springvale Ballroom security cameras and related monitoring equipment through the State Purchase Program from Southeast Security, and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed 7 O.
