Council Minutes of 01-03-2023 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2022-124 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending and <br />reestablishing Section 139.99 of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of North Olmsted entitled "Department of Public Safety," in order to create the position of "Part <br />Time Master Plans Examiner" within the Division of Building. Councilman Glassburn moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Gilchrist, Williamson, Scarl <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-124 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-1 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make <br />appropriations for Capital Improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the Year ending December <br />31, 2023, <br />Ordinance 2023-2 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending and <br />Re-establishing Chapter 171 of the Administrative Code entitled "Community Reinvestment" in order to <br />update the standards and protocols for awarding and managing tax abatement, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Council President Brossard scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, January 10, 2023, <br />at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of interviewing At Large Council candidates. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss O. 2023-2, as well as Case #22-23436, moving <br />that from the previously scheduled January 10"' date, and asked the Mayor and/or her <br />designee, and the Economic Development Director to attend. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, January 17, 2023, <br />at 7:20 p.m. to discuss O. 2023-1 and asked the Mayor and/or her designee, and Finance <br />Director to attend. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. to re -appoint Mr. Dubowski to Landmarks Commission. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, <br />President Brossard adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:20 p.m. <br />i <br />Beatrice Taylor, Clerk of Council Louis .Brossard, President of Council <br />
