Council Minutes of 02-07-2023 Resolution 2023-16 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution adopting the Cuyahoga County 2022-2027 Ail -Hazards Mitigation plan and further directing the implementation thereof, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-17 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Path Master, Inc. to install 'Glance' GPS Preemption & Priority Traffic Control Signalization Systems, through the State Purchase Program, at a cost of $305,635.00 in approved ARPA funds and, upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing the Mayor to execute contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-18 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending Section 1118.13 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Offices and Services", in order to limit the location of specified uses. Ordinance 2023-19 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending and Re -Establishing Chapter 179 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Economic and Community Development" in order to create the position of Economic Development Coordinator within the department, and declaring an emergency. "Ordinance 2023-20 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending the Rates of Compensation for Administrative Personnel to add an Economic Development Coordinator for the Year 2023; and otherwise restating the Compensation Rates and Descriptions for Various Administrative and Legislative Personnel for the year 2023, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Ordinance 2023-21 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the Year Ending December 31, 2023 and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-22 was introduced by Council President Brossard and all of Council, placed on first reading and suspension of the rules requested. An Ordinance Amending Chapter 105 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Wards and Boundaries" to include therein legal descriptions for each of the previously adopted four (4) wards of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Madden, Scarl, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Councilwoman Gilchrist moved for adoption.
