Council Minutes of 02-21-2023 <br />None <br />RVIgIFe\1B]F. <br />Resolution 2023-3 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with Motorola to purchase fifty (50) Motorola Watchguard Body <br />Cameras, together with related technical assistance, for deployment by the North Olmsted Division of <br />Police, at a cost of $139,569.00 through the State Purchase Program and funded through grant funds <br />from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Madden and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Williamson, Madden, Limped, Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn, Scarl <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-3 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-8 introduced by Mayor Jones and Councilwoman Hemann was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance amending and restating Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public <br />Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit beer and wine to be <br />sold and consumed at the "Saturday in the Park Concert Series," and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Williamson, Madden, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Llmpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-8 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-5 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Recreation & Public Engagement to solicit bids for sprayer equipment for application of <br />fertilizer at Springvale Golf Course and, upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Williamson, Madden, Limpert, Gilchrist, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption.
