Council Minutes of 03-07-2023 <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for same <br />with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Williamson, Gilchrist, Limpert, Madden, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-14 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-15 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the <br />Springvale Parking Lot Renovation Project, as detailed in specifications on file, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Williamson, Madden, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-15 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-17 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a purchase agreement with Path Master, Inc. to install 'Glance' GPS Preemption <br />& Priority Traffic Control Signalization Systems, through the State Purchase Program, at a cost of <br />$305,635.00 in approved ARPA funds and, upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute contract documents, and declaring an emergency - <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Madden and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Williamson, Madden, Scarl, Limpert, Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-17 adopted 7 0, <br />Ordinance 2023-19 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance Amending and <br />Re -Establishing Chapter 179 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Economic and <br />Community Development" in order to create the position of Economic Development Coordinator within <br />the department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Williamson, Gilchrist, Madden, Scarl <br />
