Council Minutes of 06-20-2023 No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2023-83 removed from the Agenda by a vote of 7-0. None. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION Dennis Lambert 25057 Carey Lane Mr. Lambert came to Council to report a mistake in the minutes of the January 6, 2023 Council Meeting, stating he sent an email to the Clerk, Councilwoman Hemann, and Council President Brossard. The changes to the minutes were made prior to approval by Council. Mr. Lambert also thanked the Service Director for putting a new flag up. Wes Davic 987 Railroad Street Grafton, OH Mr. Davic advised Council that he has been trying to buy the house at 28757 Oring Drive in North Olmsted for four years, noting that his attorney has been in contact with Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley for a year and a half. He reported the activity that has taken place thus far. He asked Council if there were plans to bulldoze the property, and asked for time to buy the property. Assistant Law Director stated that he will not comment on this matter, and that he has, and will speak to Mr. Davic's legal counsel. Council chose not to respond to Mr. Davic's questions as this is an ongoing legal matter, and Council President asked Mr. Davic to have his attorney contact the law department. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2023-61 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to authorize the execution of Then and Now Certificates by the Finance Director and the payment of amounts due for various purchase orders and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Madden, Gilchrist, Start, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-61 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2023-64 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for the Great Northern Bridge Project for the year ending December 31, 2023, as Amended. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0.
