Council Minutes of 06-20-2023 <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-83 removed from the Agenda by a vote of 7-0. <br />None. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Dennis Lambert <br />25057 Carey Lane <br />Mr. Lambert came to Council to report a mistake in the minutes of the January 6, 2023 Council Meeting, <br />stating he sent an email to the Clerk, Councilwoman Hemann, and Council President Brossard. The <br />changes to the minutes were made prior to approval by Council. Mr. Lambert also thanked the Service <br />Director for putting a new flag up. <br />Wes Davic <br />987 Railroad Street <br />Grafton, OH <br />Mr. Davic advised Council that he has been trying to buy the house at 28757 Oring Drive in North <br />Olmsted for four years, noting that his attorney has been in contact with Assistant Law Director Bryan <br />O'Malley for a year and a half. He reported the activity that has taken place thus far. He asked Council <br />if there were plans to bulldoze the property, and asked for time to buy the property. Assistant Law <br />Director stated that he will not comment on this matter, and that he has, and will speak to Mr. Davic's <br />legal counsel. Council chose not to respond to Mr. Davic's questions as this is an ongoing legal matter, <br />and Council President asked Mr. Davic to have his attorney contact the law department. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2023-61 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to authorize <br />the execution of Then and Now Certificates by the Finance Director and the payment of amounts due for <br />various purchase orders and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Madden, Gilchrist, Start, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-61 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-64 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to make <br />appropriations for the Great Northern Bridge Project for the year ending December 31, 2023, as <br />Amended. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 7-0. <br />
