Council Minutes of 08-15-2023 <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-79 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-80 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its Third reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Fourth Amendment of an Option and Ground <br />Lease Agreement with TowerCo 2013 LLC to provide for an extension of the lease term <br />of Monopole Cellular Tower located at North Olmsted Recreation Center in <br />consideration of advanced payment of rents, and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to advertise for bids <br />for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the Clague Road Force <br />Main Replacement Project, as detailed in specifications on file, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for same <br />with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Councilman Scarl Hemann moved for adoption. Resolution 2023-81 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-78 introduced by Council President Brossard and Council Members <br />Gilchrist, Hemann, Madden, Scarl and Williamson was given its Second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Administration to solicit Statements of Qualifications (S.O.Q.) <br />from qualified professionals to serve as the City's Audio/Visual Consultant to design <br />improvements to City Council Chambers and Caucus Facilities; and further authorizing <br />the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a Consulting <br />Agreement with the professional selected in the S.O.Q. process. <br />Resolution 2023-86 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its Second reading. A <br />Resolution ratifying and retroactively authorizing the Service Director to purchase from <br />Thorworks Industries, Inc. a Crackpro 125DA Cracksealer and related equipment at a <br />total cost of $69,638.39, pursuant to State Purchasing Program, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. <br />
