Public Hearing Minutes of 09-05-2023
Michael Babinec
27981 North Park Drive
Mr. Babinec stated that it looked like all of the storm water requirements had been
stricken from the Section, and considering all of the water issues the City has, he thinks
it would be better to at least ask what the plans are for the storm water.
Director Upton noted that this change does not alleviate the requirement that storm
water management happen, only that the Planning Commission simply reviews the
location of where storm water infrastructure is proposed. The storm water
management will still need to be discussed with the City Engineer.
Ed Wyles
25746 Butternut Ridge
Asked if this code change was in regards to the property on Butternut Ridge?
Director Upton noted that this code change has nothing to do with any specific project.
Mr. Limpert responded to the resident by noting this is a broader subject on how the
department deals with projects. It has to do with what order the projects are
completed.
Mr. Wyles stated that being a business owner himself, he appreciates being business
friendly, but also feels it is the duty of our leaders and those representing residents be
resident friendly too, by respecting existing property.
Ms. Hamann stated that she feels that this change will impact every project, no matter
how small or large. This is the beginning of the project, not the end of the project and
that this is the process for every project.
With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before
Council, President Brossard adjourned the Public Hearing at approximately 8:01 p.m.
1
'6-
Beatrice Taylor, Clerk ouncil Lrd; PresidenQ-efEeuwsi
