Resolution ratifying and retroactively <br />authorizing the Mayor to apply for up to $1,570,000.00 in financial assistance from the Ohio Public <br />Works Commission (OPWC) in grant funding for the Clague Road Resurfacing Project, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Advanced Asphalt Paving, Inc. to provide services to the parking <br />area at Fire Station II at a cost of $19,900.00. <br />Resolution 2023-104 introduced by Mayor Jones, placed on first reading and requested suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to <br />purchase two (2) new Ford Police Interceptors from Montrose Ford at a total cost of $84,082.74; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute all Purchase Agreements, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Madden moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review.
