Council Minutes of 10-17-2023 <br />Routes to School" grant program; and further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant, if awarded, <br />and execute agreements therefore, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-113 introduced by Mayor Jones, placed on first reading and suspension of the rules <br />requested. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to make <br />application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />funds for the fiscal year 2024 for the North Olmsted Senior Center Renovation Project; further <br />authorizing the Mayor to accept grant funds, if awarded, and to execute contract with Cuyahoga County <br />if required; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee <br />Review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Madden, Williamson, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Williamson, Gilchrist, Madden, Limpert, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-113 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-114 introduced by Mayor Jones, placed on first reading and suspension of the rules <br />requested. A Resolution authorizing the Senior Center Administrator to make application to the Western <br />Reserve Area Agency on Aging ("WRAAA") for a Title IIIc Nutrition Grant for 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 <br />and, if awarded, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the WRAAA to accept <br />the grant funds, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee <br />Review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Madden, Williamson, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Limpert <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption.
