Council Minutes of 11-21-2023 No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2023-119 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2023-120 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to purchase stone materials and related supplies for the year 2024, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Madden moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Madden, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Williamson, Hemann, Limpert, Scarl No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2023-120 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2023-122 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a two-year contract with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health in the total amount of $11,188.00, each year payment of $5,594.00. Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist and passed 7-0. Resolution 2023-123 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to contract for the purchase of 25 portable radios from Motorola Solutions, at a cost of $116,649.00, as priced through the State Purchase Program and required by the State of Ohio's MARCS' radio network for deployment by North Olmsted Police Department; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Madden and passed 7-0. Ordinance 2023-126 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for the Clague Road Resurfacing/Widening and Force Main Projects for the Year Ending December 31, 2023. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0.
