Council Minutes of 12-05-2023 Resolution 2023-142 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2024 all money due and owing said City from any collection source, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-143 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance amending and restating Chapter Fifteen, Title One of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled, "Taxation Code; Municipal Income Tax' in order to implement revised standards required by the Ohio Legislature, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-144 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2023 and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2023-145 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for capital improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2024. Resolution 2023-146 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to transfer the sum of Seventy -Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) from the General Fund to the North Olmsted Community Improvement Corporation for general operations and to fund the North Olmsted Neighborhood Beautification Program, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2023-142, Ordinances 2023-143, 2023-144, 2023-145 and Resolution 2023- 146. The Mayor and/or designee were asked to attend. Councilwoman Hemann moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Gilchrist, Madden, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. Councilwoman Williamson excused by a vote of 5-0. Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Limpert. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Scarl, Glassburn, Madden No: None Motion carried. Councilman Limpert excused by a vote of 5-0. With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, President Brossard adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:44 p.m.
