Council Minutes of 12-05-2023 <br />Resolution 2023-142 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution directing the <br />Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2024 all <br />money due and owing said City from any collection source, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-143 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance amending <br />and restating Chapter Fifteen, Title One of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled, <br />"Taxation Code; Municipal Income Tax' in order to implement revised standards required by the Ohio <br />Legislature, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-144 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make and <br />transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for <br />the year ending December 31, 2023 and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-145 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make <br />appropriations for capital improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, <br />2024. <br />Resolution 2023-146 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor and the Director of Finance to transfer the sum of Seventy -Five Thousand Dollars <br />($75,000.00) from the General Fund to the North Olmsted Community Improvement Corporation for <br />general operations and to fund the North Olmsted Neighborhood Beautification Program, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 7:00 <br />p.m. to discuss Resolution 2023-142, Ordinances 2023-143, 2023-144, 2023-145 and Resolution 2023- <br />146. The Mayor and/or designee were asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Williamson. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Gilchrist, Madden, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Councilwoman Williamson excused by a vote of 5-0. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Limpert. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Gilchrist, Hemann, Scarl, Glassburn, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Councilman Limpert excused by a vote of 5-0. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, <br />President Brossard adjourned the Council meeting at approximately 8:44 p.m. <br />
