Council Minutes of 12-19-2023 and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. Resolution 2023-139 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide fire prevention services, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2023-142 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2024 all money due and owing said City from any collection source, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 6-0. An Ordinance amending and restating Chapter Fifteen, Title One of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted titled, "Taxation Code; Municipal Income Tax" in order to implement revised standards required by the Ohio Legislature, and declaring an emergency.
