Council Minutes of 01-16-2024 <br />Dave Herod <br />5283 Evergreen Drive <br />Mr. Herod addressed Council again to state that the difference between those properties mentioned by <br />Mr. Massarolo, is that those properties did not have a cell tower in their front yards. He stated the data <br />means nothing when it's in their front yards and can be seen by everyone. <br />Janice Denham <br />5129 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. Denham addressed Council and was very frustrated that the possible health issues caused by the <br />cell tower have not been considered at all by Council. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2023-152 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution supporting <br />the Administration's Request for Appropriations from the State of Ohio, by and through the State's <br />Capital Budget, forthe Old Town Hall Revitalization Project (Phase 1). <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scar[ and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Shymske, Madden, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-152 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-153 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution supporting <br />the Administration's Request for Appropriations from the State of Ohio, by and through the State's <br />Capital budget, for the construction of tennis and pickleball courts to be located near Springvale Goff <br />Course. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Scarl, Madden, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Shymske <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-153 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2024-1 introduced by Mayor Jones as given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Economic and Community Development to solicit Statements of Qualifications (S.O.Q.) from <br />qualified redevelopment firms to facilitate the redevelopment of the former Forest Elementary School <br />property site into single-family housing and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the <br />Board of Control, to enter into a contract upon review and selection of S.O.Q.s. <br />Resolution 2024-2 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide maintenance services for the <br />Recreation Center mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems, as detailed in the specifications on file, and <br />
