8.03. PromotionslTransfers. The probationary period for all newly promoted/transferred <br />employees shall be pursuant to Article _, Promotions, Bidding, Transfers and Job Training, <br />Section 19.03. <br />ARTICLE 9 SENIORITY <br />9.01. Elieibility. A full-time employee is one who is regularly scheduled for forty (40) hours <br />of work per week. Only regular full-time employees of the Employer shall have seniority. <br />9.02. Derwition/Calculation. Seniority shall mean an employee's uninterrupted length of <br />continuous service with the Employer measured from his last hiring date as a full-time employee. <br />An employee shall have no seniority for the probationary period provided in Article 8 but, upon <br />completion of the probationary period, seniority shall be retroactive to the date of hire. <br />9.03. Seniority ListlUpdates. The Employer shall provide the Union with a copy of the <br />seniority lists. These lists shall be made up by classifications and shall contain in order of date of <br />hire, and the seniority date of each employee. 493 The Employer shall advise the Union in <br />writing of additions to or deletions from the seniority list at the end of each pay period. A copy <br />of the list of additions and/or deletions will be sent to the Local Union President and the Local <br />Union Treasurer. <br />9.04. Interruption of Continuous Service/Seniority. Continuous service and seniority shall be <br />broken when an employee: <br />(a) Quits; <br />(b) Is discharged for just cause; <br />(c) Is laid off for a period equal to the amount of seniority held at the time the lay-off <br />commences, or twenty-four (24) consecutive months, whichever is less; <br />(d) Fails to report to work within seven (7) calendar days when recalled from lay-off by <br />certified mail addressed on the Employer's records, unless the employee is unable to <br />work due to medically proven disability; <br />(e) Is absent without report for five (5) consecutive work days. <br />ARTICLE 10 HOURS OF WORKIOVERTIME <br />10.01. Workday/Workweek/Meal Periods.
