An employee or his estate shall be paid for unused, accumulated compensatory time at the <br />time of disability, retirement or death at the basic hourly rate of pay for his workweek plus <br />longevity if applicable. <br />34,09 33.04. Compensatory Time Scheduling Limits. Compensatory time shall be taken in <br />eight (8) hour blocks or in four (4) hour blocks at the start or end of a shift. Thereafter, such employee shall advance to <br />the next higher step on each subsequent anniversary date of hire or promotion until the employee <br />reaches the maximum step. Employees promoted shall advance to the <br />step that correlates to the years of service in their previous classification. (For example: Laborer <br />B that is on the After Completion of 3`4 year is promoted to Labor A After Completion of 3'a <br />year rate, etc). <br />34.04. Voluntary Demotion/Placement on Schedule. Any employee who requests and receives <br />a voluntary demotion shall be placed at that step in the wage schedule that most closely equals <br />the employee's rate prior to demotion. Employees who are promoted shall be placed at the step <br />that corresponds with years of service earned since their last hire date. <br />34.05. Licensure Pay. All employees in the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Systems <br />Employees who obtain a Class I, II, or III license shall receive the license incentive contained <br />herein.
