Steve Erhman 5680 Wellesley Mr. Erhman came to Council to discuss the cell tower, and the code that allows the City to do "what it wishes" with the park. He added that the City adding a cell tower will take away some of the property value of the surrounding homes. He again asked why the tower could not be installed at Springvale, noting there was only one house that would be effected, and to him, seems to be a better location for the cell tower. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. A Resolution authorizing the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide maintenance services for the Recreation Center mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Ordinance 2024-3 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2024 and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2024-4 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the Administration to solicit Statements of Qualifications (S.O.Q.) from qualified professionals to serve as the City's Arborist to enforce the provisions of Chapter 950, "Tree Preservation and Management"; and further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a consulting agreement with the professional selected in the S.O.C. process, and declaring an emergency. A Resolution authorizing the Administration to solicit Statements of Qualifications (S.O.Q.) from qualified professionals to consult on the development of a Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) Travel Plan, in partnership with the North Olmsted
