Council Minutes of 02-20-2024 <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Gilchrist, Scarl, Madden, Shymske <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2024-9 adopted 7-0. <br />Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment to thank the Administration and the workers for getting <br />an agreement together. <br />Ordinance 2024-12 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to authorize <br />the execution of Then and Now Certificates by the Finance Director and the payment of amounts due for <br />various purchase orders and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-13 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide construction services for the <br />2024 Street Resurfacing Project, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2024-14 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide cracksealing on various streets <br />at various locations in the City, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution 2024-15 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to <br />various streets and locations in the City, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best <br />bidder. <br />Resolution 2024-16 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />Department of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel fuel and gasoline products for use by the <br />City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the <br />Board of Control, to enter into a contract to purchase such products, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-17 introduced by Mayor Janes and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract for the transportation and <br />disposal of bio -solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant to an O.E.P.A. approved site, another <br />N.P.D.E.S. permit holder, or other authorized sites and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with the lowest and best bidder following approval by the Board of Control. <br />Ordinance 2024-18 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute documents required to grant separation of an identified area from the North <br />Olmsted Sewer Facility Planning Area to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Facility Planning <br />Area and, once approved, to enter into an amendment of the Sewer Service Area defined by the Sewer <br />Service Agreement with the County of Cuyahoga, as amended and restated in 2013, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />
