Council Minutes of 03-05-2024 <br />Ordinance 2024-18 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute documents required to grant separation of an identified area from the North <br />Olmsted Sewer Facility Planning Area to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Facility Planning <br />Area and, once approved, to enter into an amendment of the Sewer Service Area defined by the Sewer <br />Service Agreement with the County of Cuyahoga, as amended and restated in 2013, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Councilman Shymske moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Madden and passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Shymske, Madden, Scarl, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment to note that he reached out the Olmsted Township <br />Trustees' President and they agreed favorably to this change. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. Ordinance 2024-18 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2024-20 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance directing <br />that the real property owned by the City of North Olmsted and known as 0.7467 acres, or 32,527 square <br />feet, of permanent parcel number 233-26-063 which is presently undeveloped property but is no longer <br />needed for municipal purposes be sold to BDW Properties, LLC.; and further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement and all other documents required to effectuate said sale, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-21 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Development and TIF Reimbursement Agreement with Star West <br />Great Northern LLC. <br />Ordinance 2024-22 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />designating revenue derived from the lease of a site for the establishment of a cellular tower at the <br />North Olmsted Park, and declaring an emergency. <br />President Pro Tempore Glassburn announced the start time of 6:30 p.m. for a Committee of the Whole <br />previously announced by Council President Brossard and scheduled on March 12, 2024, to discuss <br />Council start time and the sidewalk program. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />March 12, 2024 at 6:35 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2024-20, and asked that the Vice Chair handle on his <br />behalf. The Mayor and/or designee and Economic Development Director were asked to attend. <br />
