Council Minutes of 04-02-2024 <br />provide funds to pay costs of constructing, reconstructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise <br />improving the City's fire stations, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto. <br />Ordinance 2024-26 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into an amended agreement for the establishment of the Westshore Council of <br />Governments, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-27 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to provide a fireworks <br />display for 2024, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-28 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />Amending Section 1101.02 entitled "Major Subdivisions; Procedural Requirements" of Chapter 1101 of <br />the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled <br />"Subdivision Regulations" in order to eliminate the street length provision when a cul-de-sac is planned <br />as set forth in Section 1101.02(d)(2)(E). <br />Ordinance 2024-29 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make <br />Appropriations for Capital Improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the Year Ending December <br />31,2024. <br />Ordinance 2024-30 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make <br />Appropriations for Capital Improvements for the City of North Olmsted Fire Station 1 for the Year Ending <br />December 31, 2024. <br />Ordinance 2024-31 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending <br />Section 1321.05 entitled "Plans Examination Fees" of Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted entitled "Permit and Inspection Fees" for the purpose of updating Plans <br />Examination Fee Schedules, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-32 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with Hope <br />Meadows Foundation to provide Mental Health and Wellness Services for use by North Olmsted Safety <br />Forces in the amount of $30,630.00, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-33 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a three year Agreement with Everbridge, Inc., to provide text messaging <br />services, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Brossard called a Special Council Meeting for Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. to <br />allow Ordinance 2024-10 and Ordinance 2024-21 to have their third readings. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />April 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2024-32. The Mayor and/or her designees were asked to <br />attend. <br />
