Council Minutes of 04-09-2024
Councilman Limpert voted yes with comment stating he believes this is a big spend to get the
demolition, and wants to ensure the City is trying to leverage the owners of the properties to try and do
this on their own. Councilman Limpert further noted that he understands that the City is doing a lot at
the mall, and trying to grow it, which is good news, and he expects that we will be reimbursed, which he
believes is part of the process.
Councilman Shymske voted yes with comment stating that when he campaigned in North Olmsted, he
heard overwhelmingly that the residents wanted to have something done with the mall, and he thinks
this will help make that happen.
Councilman Glassburn moved to excuse the absence of Council President Brossard. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed unanimously.
Roll Call:
Yes: Glassburn, Scarl, Limpert, Hemann, Shymske, Gilchrist, Madden
No: None
Motion carried.
