Council Minutes of 04-09-2024 <br />Councilman Limpert voted yes with comment stating he believes this is a big spend to get the <br />demolition, and wants to ensure the City is trying to leverage the owners of the properties to try and do <br />this on their own. Councilman Limpert further noted that he understands that the City is doing a lot at <br />the mall, and trying to grow it, which is good news, and he expects that we will be reimbursed, which he <br />believes is part of the process. <br />Councilman Shymske voted yes with comment stating that when he campaigned in North Olmsted, he <br />heard overwhelmingly that the residents wanted to have something done with the mall, and he thinks <br />this will help make that happen. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to excuse the absence of Council President Brossard. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Scarl, Limpert, Hemann, Shymske, Gilchrist, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried.
