Council Minutes of 05-07-2024 <br />Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Scarl, Hemann, Gilchrist, Glassburn, Limpert, Madden <br />No: Shymske <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2024-47 adopted 6-1. <br />Resolution 2024-48 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading and suspension of the <br />rules and formal committee review requested. A Resolution approving the Cuyahoga County 911 Plan, <br />as adopted by the Cuyahoga County 9-1-1 Program Review Committee; and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-49 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Human Resources to solicit Requests for qualifications (R.F.O.$) for Civil <br />Service Testing companies for entry-level and promotional testing. <br />Resolution 2024-50 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution approving <br />the award of a Job Creation Grant to J.L. Moore, Inc. and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />Grant Agreement; and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />May 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss PDC Cases 23689-PO10 and 26074 -DPA. The Mayor and/or <br />designee and Economic Development Director were asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2024-42, Resolution 2024-43 and Resolution <br />2024-44. The Mayor and/or designee, the Recreation Director and a representative from Springvale <br />were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:35 p.m. <br />to discuss Ordinance 2024-40, Resolution 2024-41 and Resolution 2024-50. The Mayor and/or designee <br />from Finance, IT and Economic Development were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Scarl scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, May <br />14, 2024 at 7:55 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2024-45, Ordinance 2024-46, Resolution 2024-48 and <br />Resolution 2024-49.
