<br />D. In addition to the salaries as specified herein, the Chief of Police, Police Captain and the Chief of Fire may be
<br />entitled to any and all benefits afforded their respective FOP and IAFF members including extra pay for
<br />LEADS, uniform, firearms proficiency, body armor, paramedic and fire prevention. All other benefits follow non -
<br />bargaining employee benefits. However, the Chief of Police, Police Captain and Chief of Fire shall not be
<br />entitled to overtime pay or compensatory time benefits. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant to the Chief
<br />of Police shall receive LEADS compensation. The aforementioned allowances shall be paid during the first pay
<br />period after January 1st of each year. Such allowance shall be prorated in the first and final year of
<br />employment. However, where an employee retires under their applicable pension plan from City service, such
<br />proration shall be waived in the final year.
