I know that all members of our City Council and all of our North
Olmsted residents will join me in expressing their condolences to the family as they grieve this
terrible loss in this random act of violence. This was a terrible tragedy for our entire community
and it comes just 22 days shy of one year, after last year's shooting at the same Giant Eagle. Our
Police Department continues its ongoing investigation of the crime as we come together as a
community and attempt to heal and move forward. I'm once again extremely proud of the work
done by our safety forces, and for their compassion and swiftness of their response. Our city is
providing grief counseling to our employees and anyone who is in need of those services."
Director of Law Gareau:
• No report.
