ARTICLE fir 5 <br />A &HQWDUES DEDUCTION <br />494 5.01. Membership. All employees in the bargaining unit(s) OM4 may become dues paying <br />members of the FOP/OLC. <br />4.Q5.02. FOP/OLC Dues Deduction.Any - - ------ - - shall, <br />--"----" --' - . The Employer <br />agrees to deduct FOP/OLC dues from any member of the bargaining unit who provides written <br />authorization for a payroll dues and fees deduction. The FOP/OLC shall indemnify the Employer and hold it harmless against <br />any and all claims, demands, suits, or other liability that may arise by reason of any action of the <br />Employer in complying with the provisions of this Article. <br />494 504. Local Dues Deduct The Employer shall deduct local Western Cuyahoga Lodge #25 <br />membership dues in the amount certified by Lodge #25 to the Employer. Said dues will be <br />deducted annually from the first paycheck of each year from the employees authorizing such <br />deduction. <br />ARTICLE * 6 <br />3:91.601. Workdav/Workweek for 8 -Hour Shifts/Double Backs. A workweek is defined as forty <br />(40) hours for all employees scheduled on eight (8) hour rotations. A workday is defined as a <br />continuous eight (8) hour period in any twenty-four (24) hour period, while on an eight (8) hour <br />rotation, except during those periods which a double back occurs. A double back is defined as the <br />work period in which an employee completes a shift and starts another shift or assignment within <br />the same twenty-four (24) hour period. Workday/Work Period for Alternative Shift Operations <br />A. Wark Period/OT. er An eighty (80) hour work period is utilized for employees scheduled <br />on twelve (12) or ten (10) hourrotations/operation. For twelve (12) hourshift scheduling, <br />an eight (8) hourshift is integrated into the work period 3.93 Compensation for regularly <br />scheduled eight (8) hour days in the twelve (12) hour schedule shall be at the straight -time <br />rate of pay.
