On
second reading, Ordinance 2024-75, Resolution 2024-83, Ordinance 2024-84, Resolution
2024-85, and Resolution 2024-86.
Moving into reports, Mayor Dailey Jones, do you have a report this evening?
REPORTS
Mayor Jones:
I do, Mr. President. Thank you. Good evening, Members of Council.
As you are aware, the damage from five tornadoes touching down in Northeast Ohio
two weeks ago was extensive as the city of North Olmsted was hard hit. Downed
trees and power lines were in double digits in our city; and the cleanup efforts
continue. Our service department hopes to have things completely back to normal
by the end of this week. They've done a yeoman's job and deserve our sincere
thanks and appreciation. Many of our residents were without power for five days
because of the storm.
