• On the agenda was Resolution 2024-90, which is the Community Development Block
Grant for funding the ADA improvements to Town Hall. Director Upton explained the
grant amount is $150,000 with no match required. The grant will go towards $7,000
for an ADA -compliant motorized door, $75,000 for an ADA -compliant ramp, $50,000
for the HVAC system upgrade, and some funds for communication systems. Director
Upton noted that if the grant is not awarded, the city has $235,000 from last year's
appropriations, which could be used for waterproofing and other critical
improvements, making that a funding potential of roughly $485,000, which includes
$100,000 from the State Capital Budget. He also reported that the project cost is
estimated to be between $1.5 to $2 million. After no further questions, Resolution
2024-90 was favorably recommended to Council by a vote of 2-0, and that
Committee meeting concluded at 8:13 p.m.
I have one more meeting for the park. These are the meeting minutes from North Olmsted
