2. Add bumper stops to the parking spaces to keep them from rolling onto the <br />path. <br />3. Connect a new path from the concession building to east to the existing trail <br />within the woods. <br />4. Baseball slash softball backstops. Talking about, under that, adding mesh <br />netting for the overhang to keep the balls when they're hit fall. <br />5. Potential for crossing along East Park Drive at Cut -through Street for phase <br />two of the project. <br />6. Basketball hoop upgrades. <br />7. Bid out phase one, will be at the end of September. <br />8. Concession stand. We had two items under that. <br />a. The color shown in the rendering provided were okay to move <br />forward with, and; <br />It. The second thing was provide outside lighting on the building. <br />That meeting concluded at 6:45 p.m., and that concludes public parks and <br />recreation. Councilman Scarl, back to you as Chairman of the Public Safety, Health, and <br />Welfare Committee. Do you have a report this evening? <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />I do, Mr. President, thank you. <br />The Public Safety, Health, and Welfare Committee met on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 8:13 <br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Scarl and Madden, Council Members Limpert, <br />Glassburn, Gilchrist, and Shymske, Council President Brossard, the Mayor, Directors of HR, <br />Economic Development, Safety, Service, Recreation, and the Mayor's Special Assistant, and <br />Guests. <br />First on the agenda was Liquor Permit 524-1003, Local Bar, located at 24108 Lorain <br />Road, Unit 13. Our Police Department has no objections to this permit, and the <br />Committee voted 2-0 not to object to the permit. <br />At this time, Mr. President, I move not to object to Liquor Permit 524-1003, Local Bar, <br />located at 24108 Lorraine Road, Unit 13, and ask for a second. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to not object to Liquor Permit 5241003 for Local Bar, located at 24108 Lorain <br />Avenue, Unit 13, as made by Councilman Scarl, seconded by Councilwoman Hemann.
