This legislation was favorably <br />recommended with the amendment by a vote of 2-0. <br />At this time, Mr. President, I move to amend Ordinance 2024-73 to change the percentage <br />of vape products from 51% to 31% and ask for a second. <br />Councilwoman Hemann: <br />Second <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to amend Ordinance 2024-73 is made by Councilman Scarl and seconded by <br />Councilwoman Hemann. Roll call, please. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Scarl: Yes <br />Ms. Hemann: Yes <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Yes <br />Mr. Shymske: Yes <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes <br />Mr. Glassburn: Yes <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Ordinance 2024-73 is amended by a vote of 6-0. <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />• Next on the agenda was Resolution 2024-87, which is to purchase two Ford Explorers <br />for the Police Department, both of which are included in the budget. After a brief <br />discussion, the legislation was favorably recommended to Council by a vote of 2-0. <br />• Last was Resolution 2024-88, which is to purchase one Ford Expedition for the Police <br />Department, which is also in the budget, and that legislation was favorably <br />recommended to Council by the vote of 2-0, and the Committee Meeting concluded <br />at 8:29 p.m. Thank you. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />All right, thank you. Councilwoman Gilchrist, Chairwoman of the Streets and Transportation <br />Committee, do you have a report this evening? <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Yes, Mr. President, I do have a report. <br />The Streets and Transportation Committee met on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 6:47 p.m. <br />Present were Committee Members Gilchrist, Glassburn, and Shymske. Council Members <br />Hemann, Madden, Limpert, and Scarl. The Mayor, the Finance Director, the HR Director, the <br />Economic Director, the Safety Director, the Service Director, Special Assistant to the Mayor, <br />and guests. The Committee met to hear a presentation given by the City Engineer and IMS <br />to review the Pavement Condition Survey and Analysis of 2024.
