Council President Brossard: Thank you. Councilman Limpert: Mr. President, can I have just a quick moment of personal privilege? Council President Brossard: Certainly. Councilman Limpert: just want to echo the Mayor's report, for the October 5th event at the park. I went last year, and plan to go again this year. It really is great and growing in the way they're combining different groups to run it. It's really, really a great event, and we encourage people to attend. So, thanks. Council President Brossard: Thank you. Councilwoman Hamann, Chairwoman of the Recreation, Public Parks, and Buildings Committee, do you have a report this evening? Recreation, Public Parks, and Buildings Committee Councilwoman Hemann: I do not, thank you. Council President Brossard: Thank you. Councilman Glassburn, Chairman of the Finance Committee, do you have a report this evening? Finance Committee Councilman Glassburn: Yes, I do, Mr. President. Finance Committee met in the Caucus room on September 24, 2024 at 7:08 p.m. Present were all of Council, the Mayor, and the Directors of Law, Economic Development, Service, and Special Assistant to the Mayor. There was one item on the agenda, which was 2024-81 regarding the CRA for Star West, which I abstained from participating in, and Councilman Limpert can address. Councilman Limpert: Thank you, Chairman Glassburn. The discussion was from the last meeting and there was a 1 to 1 vote to move it forward, which kept it in committee. So, it was recommended that we vote again, and it was still 1 - 1, and the recommendation was to make a motion to relieve it from Committee, and that passed by a vote of 2 - 0.
