Paychecks for employees ending their scheduled week at 8:30 a.m. on Friday will be <br />available at 8:30 a.m, on that Friday. <br />In the event of a shortage of an employee paycheck, that exceeds $25.00; such shortage shall be <br />paid within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of shortage is made to the supervisor. <br />SECTION 4: Weekend Pav: <br />not be eligi4ie f@F the. Training Dispatcher Designation/Supplement. Whenever an employee requires <br />training in dispatch, the designated training dispatcher will receive an additional €off one <br />thousand dollars ($41,000.00) per year. A minimum of two (2) employees will be designated as <br />training dispatchers. These designated training dispatchers shall only be compensated for any year <br />for which they were actually designated training dispatchers and training is required. The <br />aforementioned payment shall be made during the first pay period of January, each year of this <br />Agreement for previous year service as a designated training dispatcher. (From Training Article) <br />Section Z Lead Dispatcher Position/Designation. During the term of the parties agreement, <br />the Employer may establish Lead Dispatcher positions) for the purpose ofproviding additional <br />oversight of dispatching shifts. The Employer will post opportunities for members to apply to <br />serve in a Lead Dispatcher capacity as it determines such become available, and members may <br />then apply in accordance with the job posting. Such posting shall indicate whether the position <br />is an internal opportunity only or if the position includes external candidates. For internal <br />postings, the Employer will evaluate all qualified internal applicants and award the position to <br />the applicant whom it determines to be most qualified. If it determines two internal applicants <br />to be equally qualified, the most senior applicant shall be awarded the position. For open <br />processes, if the Employer determines an internal and external candidate to be equally qualified, <br />the internal candidate will be given preference. The Employer will determine how many Lead <br />Dispatcher assignments are available at any given time and may increase or decrease the <br />number of Lead Dispatcher spots based on its determination of its operational needs. In the <br />event that a reduction in the number of Lead Dispatcherpositions is made and such reduction <br />involves more than one (1) unit member on an applicable turn, such reduction (not involving a <br />layoff) will be made by seniority as a Lead Dispatcher. <br />30 <br />4862-1615-2607, v.5 <br />
