Any employee of the Employer who has not <br />qualified for any of the benefits of this article but has sustained an illnessBnjuryin the scope of <br />his employment and used his own sick leave during the FML period may opt to turn over to the <br />Employer any amount received from the Bureau of Worker's Compensation. Any amount <br />turned over to the Employer shall he credited to the employee's Sick Leave Bank on a dollar - <br />for -dollar basis. <br />ARTICLE VA 17 <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />X01 17.01. Amount/Immediate Family. AA Employees shall be granted <br />abogWgPoms paid bereavement leave of up to-ei*{3*jorty (40) work hours, which must <br />be taken in conjunction with the date(s) of deathlfuneral service, in the event of the death of an <br />immediate family member. Documentation may be required to substantiate the requested leave. <br />d3.944 Bereavement leave shall be exclusive of sick time or any other accumulated time. <br />16.9217.02. Immediate Family Defined. <br />(-}Aeg6 43,93 For the purposes of this article, immediate family member shall mean: Husband, <br />wife, child, parent, brother or sister of employee, parents of spouse of the employee, brother or <br />sister of spouse, grandparents, grandparents of spouse, grandchild, step children, step parents, step <br />parents of spouse, son-in-law, daughter-in-law as well as any relative living in the employee's <br />home. <br />17.03. Amoun0'Other Relationships.
