<br />All right, moving into Council Committee reports. Councilman Glassburn, Vice Chair of the
<br />Building, Zoning, and Development Committee, do you have a report this evening?

<br />My report is to note that the Committee lacked quorum and so it did not meet.

<br />Okay, thank you. Councilwoman Hemann, Chairwoman of the Recreation, Public Parks, and
<br />Buildings Committee, do you have a report this evening?
<br />Recreation, Public Parks, and Buildings Committee
<br />Councilwoman Hemann:
<br />I do, thank you, Mr. Chair.
<br />The Recreation, Parks, and Public Buildings Committee met on October 8, 2024. Present were
<br />Councilmembers Hemann and Scarl, Council President Brossard, Council Members Glassburn,
<br />Madden, Shymske, the Mayor, the Law Director, Finance Director, Human Resource Director,
<br />Safety Director, Service Director, and the Special Assistant to the Mayor. The meeting started
<br />at 7:20 p.m.
<br />• On the agenda was 2024-101. A discussion was had about amending the title of that
<br />legislation, and Ms. Hemann made a motion to make a recommendation that we hold in
<br />committee so that the amendment could be made, and that vote passed unanimously.
<br />The meeting concluded at 7:24 p.m.
<br />On October 15'^, the Committee met again at 7:10 p.m. Present at this meeting was
<br />Councilwoman Hemann and Mr. Scarl, Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist,
<br />Glassburn, Madden, Shymske, the Law Director, Finance Director, Human Resource Director,
<br />Economic Development Director, Safety Director, Service Director, the Recreation Director.
<br />• The Committee discussed briefly the amendment that had been drafted by our Law
<br />Director, and explained the amendment was adding verbiage that said "presentation of
<br />bid results to the Recreation, Public Parks, and Buildings Committee of the City Council,
<br />and thereafter the approval...:. So that amendment was discussed, and Ms. Hemann
