Finance Committee Councilman Glassburn: I do not have a report this evening, Mr. President, but if I can have a moment as well. Council President Brossard: Of course. Councilman Glassburn: Thank you to North Olmsted's voters and to all of you. It's been a pleasure working with all of you. My old outline of process, my plan is to remain on the Council until taking office in January. The Council has its own process, as we learned with Councilman Madden and others throughout the years, that there's one year, there will be one year remaining on the term that I was elected to in Ward II. The remainder of Council will select the appointment, and I'm sure Council President Brossard will get into that at the appropriate time. I do not have the ability to choose said replacement, that is to the will of the remainder of Council. Also, in the new position, I will get the choice to hire a single person in an office, I do not have a robust Congressional office. There will not be a North Olmsted Representative Glassburn storefront. To the best that I can tell, although, I've not asked Jim Burns yet, but it appears that I'm the first person from North Olmsted to ever serve in the House or Senate for the General Assembly. So, again, thank you all for your support and working with me over the years. That's the end of my report, or comments, or whatever. Thank you. Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee Councilman Scarl: I do not, Mr. President, but if I could have a moment of personal privilege. Council President Brossard: Certainly. Councilman Scarl: I just want to congratulate you; it was fun working with you, and I'm sure we will be hearing more from you down at the State level, thank you.
