• Also present at the Committee meeting was Mr. Christopher Hartenstine who was being <br />recommended by Council for an appointment to the Charter Review Commission for the <br />term from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029. Councilman Limpert spoke of <br />their knowledge of Mr. Hartenstine's community involvement for many years and his <br />strong work background and volunteerism. Mr. Hartenstine advised Council of his 17 <br />years of living in the City and time spent in various coaching positions and prior teaching <br />experience. He presently works for NASA in their office communications area and has <br />done some prior charter review while working in that position at NASA. Mr. Madden <br />made a motion to favorably recommend Mr. Hartenstine, and it was seconded by <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist. The Committee voted to favorably recommend to all of Council <br />for his appointment 2-0, and the Committee meeting concluded at 7:12 p.m. <br />At this time, Mr. President, I'd like to move to approve the Mayor's appointment of Ms. Roxana <br />Galateanu to the Building Zoning Board of Appeals Commission for the term of January 1, 2025 <br />through December 31, 2029 and ask for a second. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to approve the Mayor's appointment of Roxana Galateanu to the Building Zoning Board <br />of Appeals for the term of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029 is made by Councilman <br />Madden and seconded by Councilwoman Gilchrist. Parker who have been recommended by Council for <br />the Charter Review Committee. As reported, we did interview Mr. Hartenstine, however, due to <br />conflicting schedules, we were unable to meet with Mr. Van Hala and Mr. Parker before the <br />end of the year.
